Vivienne Westwood — Burn Punk London, 2016

Vivienne Westwood photographed aboard a double-decker bus in London on 26 November 2016, following the Burn Punk protest on the Thames.

Dressed in a sharply tailored tartan suit, Westwood had spoken passionately about climate change, political complacency and the urgent need for action. Surrounded by the soft pink interior of the bus, she meets the camera with the unmistakable presence, defiance and humour that defined both her work and her activism.
